I decided to dive into the 3rd dimension [so to speak] today. and the result isn't that hot =\.

Yeah. I think the image says it all. My refrence is sitting right infront of me. [or you could probably google newport ] Really, tear it apart for me.

jalonso: it should now. dra: I couldn't do the text for the life of me :p it fails. [edit] I just realised I forgot to AA the lines on the top/white of the box :o I'll get it later.

AAing helps small text because it fuzzies it so your mind makes you think it's text

Seems fine to me, just needs some AA. I'd try tackling a more complex
shape or feature, 9/10 People in iso always stick with boxes and it
looks so plain and unrealistic, I'd kill that before it starts, if I
were you.

I tried to fuzzzz the text. the top/skinny side look better now, but it's not helping the front of the box much. Better than it was before, though.

Looks great to me, I think you overdid the green background one the text for the second one though

The first looked good to me. Altho iso work have no real rules, there
are guidelines. On a floating item such as this the corners should
ALWAYS be like the top right, not bottom right. The highlight edge goes
one pixel to the left (centered on the 3 line) and finally in iso if
you find you need AA, your lineart sux.
