Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm currently working on a design document for a small hobby game that I'm interested in developing and I'm in need of a talented artist to help with a few pieces of concept art.

Although I work professionally as a video game producer, this game (as stated before) is just a hobby development and is not intended to be sold, therefor this is a non-paying position. The artist would still own all rights to their artwork, I'd just have permission to use it in my documentation.

I'm looking for a skilled artist that's interested in creating artwork for practice (or even just for the love of it). I've posted an overview of the game design below, so that you can learn a little more about what my game is about. I'm intending an art style of simplified realism - something toony but detailed enough to express the important bits. The art also has to be clean, consistent and colourful.

If you're interested in learning more or you're able to help out, feel free to drop me a line at aesevetsi@hotmail.com and I'll gladly share any further information with you.

T
hanks kindly,

~Jade

Introduction

My Game is a colorful and social virtual world that combines elements of adventure, simulation, and puzzle genres. It is designed for use on PC, with the intention of porting to DS.

My Game is full of plentiful surprises and lively NPCs. Players create their own home in an ever-changing world of their own, though instead of earning money and 'leveling up' through combat like most games do, players will need to play a variety of fun puzzle games in order to unlock content and progress through the game.

Background

My Game is an original property that draws influence from the success of other games, like Animal Crossing, Puzzle Pirates, Cooking Mama and Diner Dash 2.

Key Features

Single player features:
  • customize your avatar; personality and appearance
  • customize your own home; furniture, paint, carpet, garden, etc
  • earn money by playing a variety of fun mini-games
  • build a new home to decorate, or a home business of your own
  • interact with lively NPCs and pets
Multiplayer features:
  • invite other players to your world and visit theirs
  • interact with others, through animations, chat, gifts and games

  • Cooking: Prepare ingredients and cook delicious meals
  • Waitressing: Keep customers happy whilst serving them in a timely fashion
  • Cleaning: Wash, rub and scrub to keep things nice and shiny

More information available on request.
