I hate it when companies are all cloak and dagger about their identites, yet expect to get everything short of a birth certificate from you.

What do they have to hide?

If this is Backbone Entertainment, it's not worth it. Your artistry would be better appreciated elsewhere.

that's true, though.  it's not like this is a really high-end forum, either.  no offense in saying that, but I mean.. come on..

and then they obviously don't care enough to check back up on their posts.. that says a lot, to me at least.

The reason they don't say the name of the company is because this is another company recruiting. If they give the name of the company now, you could go directly to them, and the recruiters get nothing. Well, that's what I think anyway.

I believe recruiters are paid as a service to find employees. The exact channel shouldn't affect their pay. Considering the vagueness of this post (SF bay area?), their secrecy seems unnecessary.

My comment about Backbone was directed to anyone who'd consider working with them.
