Hear ye! Hear ye!

Could someone provide some pointers for the walking animation I did below please? I'll give you half my kingdom and your weight in barley.

Hail traveler, monarch of a foreign kingdom! If you submit to our teachings, we will give you a pig, and as many coconuts as you can carry. 'tis a deal that can't be reckoned with.

So! Some pointers... you've done a really good job on the animation, but your lighting/shading gets awkward in places. I'm looking at the hair, mainly. The bright white highlights are spaced in a way that suggests the light is coming from the viewer's position. The rest of the character reveals that the light is coming from the top. Plus, the dithered, high-contrast look doesn't fit with the super-clean clothing. Try toning that hair down and fitting it in with the rest of the character.

If there's any fault in the animation that I think could be improved upon, the character's chest pokes out really far sometimes. How can you create the effect of a rotating torso without forcing it out irregularly?

Keep pixeling, and I look forwards to exchanging barley and coconuts soon.
