Ok let me explain this. I'm trying to teach my computer to paint using my own programming techniques. Each picture is compleatly random the computer does what it chooses based on my programming. I just have been trying to teach it to paint with emotion. This picture was painted in about 4 seconds. So tell me: Do you feel any emotion is this work made by my computer? Heh. Looks pretty awesome, considering that it looks quite futuristic with those bright branches that are partially transparent. Anyway, as I saw other screens of the program, I quite much like those pictures. Maybe the place where the "roots" should be looks pretty cut-off, but else those are nice to look at. Also the leaves (that don't look that much like real ones) give them a somewhat mystic look ^^

Right I would be crazy to say that today's computers have emotions. But I'm trying to teach it to draw like it does. Thanks for all the imput guys. This is a rebuttle to the accusation that I don't make complex stuff in Game Maker. I do think it is possible to make computers have simulated emotions and personalities, but they probably won't ever be able to feel emotions. I see that the left is reddened and the right is blueish. The middle tree being white gives me a sense of calm. Backed up by the soft tones and edges. Sort of oriental, tis great. I mean, animals have emotions too, yet they are not aware of their existance (only if that existance is being threatened). Also, I think the general human understanding does not suppose animals to have souls (but who knows?). |

It might mean you don't have enough video memory for game maker to create the surface, so it can't write to/read from it and death ensues. ------------- http://pixelmonkey.ensellitis.com">

You have a graphics card that does not support surfaces. Or you need to update your drivers.
