Hello pixeljoint! I've been in search of adventure game artwork (like early LucasArts style backgrounds) for awhile and stumbled across this site. So much fun to browse through the amazing pixel art here! I've created a basic game engine for creating LucasArts style PAC adventures . I don't want to post a link since I don't want to violate any forum rules. I've played around with several game engines and creation software - and I'm pretty excited about the future of this project. In 2015, LA fans are getting harder to find, so needless to say I'm NOT doing this to sell a million copies, but rather to challenge myself and enjoy what I'm doing ;) I'm looking for pixel artists that would like to create character sprites, backgrounds, animation effects and inventory items that you would expect to see in a retro LucasArts adventure game. This is a paid project (and hopefully on-going) with 50% up front and 50% on delivery. The direction and subject matter are entirely up to you - but the end results need to be posted for sale (or free) somewhere and link back to the game engine for exposure purposes. Pay is based on project :) Thanks! |

Your game sounds very interesting. I am a huge fan of LA, Sierra, etc. type Adventure games. I base my style off of those games from the early 90's and I mostly consider myself a character and object animator/designer, but I can do any kind of art you would need.
