This forum is a collaborative effort of everyone pouring out their hearts to help complete beginners like me who've only are just understanding the true glory of pixel art, and I want to give back! But, there's a small problem...

You see despite the great tutorials and well thought-out responses to other questions, I don't think I found one already answered to mine. (Or maybe I just didn't look hard enough lol.)

So the question is:

How am I to analyze shapes in order to even begin creating pixelized work? I think I've seen the term "line work" being thrown around, maybe speaking of how that's the under lying blueprint that allow for the work to even begin. If this is so could someone explain it further?

Now, I think I understand the fact that shapes such as circles, squares, arcs, cones, isometric circles, etc. are being used but, what's the breakdown process to creating something as simple as a static object.

I don't entirely understand the question, but you need to learn the foundations of 2-dimensional art before you'll be successful in any medium- be it drawing, painting, pixel art, etc. These are easiest to learn with pencil and paper in my opinion, as pixel art adds its own set of obstacles. The resources on this site don't cover this because it isn't specific to pixel art, and the foundations of 2-dimensional art can be learned in a lot of other places. Practice rendering basic geometric forms in perspective (cone, cube, sphere, cylinder). Which means learning how light operates (shading) as well as perspective (1-point. 2-point, etc.)
