There are pieces on the public queue that have been there longer than yours. In general, pieces that are clearly acceptable get approved quickly, and pieces that have obvious problems are rejected quickly. Works that are in the middle often stay on the queue for a while. This happens if the mods aren't sure about accepting it and wait for members' votes to accumulate to they can make a decision based on those. That particular piece has pillow shading, which is a bad thing in most situations. That could be contributing to the piece not being accepted. It might still be accepted in the end if enough people don't mind it, but it can take a while since many members vote "no" on pieces with issues like that. |

| the anatomy is really wonky, the signature is scribbled in with a large brush, and the dithering isn't adding much to the figure. you've also got lots of jaggies. I assume it's sitting in the queue for these reason, waiting for member votes to accumulate so the mods know whether or not the community find the quality acceptable for the site. |
