I'll be editing this first post quite a bit I guess.

Okay, it was initially decided that chiptune/low tech style of music (think NES, Gameboy, SNES, Genesis etc...) would best suite this game, so please bare this in mind when making suggestions etc.

I want to emphasize that the tunes uploaded are just ideas and that the final tunes will probably be completely different.

I think Brian's should be kind of military.
Like the sound of the chants they do or something.

Hard to explain what I mean though...

Yes, you're right. I guess a blend between that, and a wintery tune would be good.

Also, everyone else can excrete their ideas here, regarding the style of each different music (levels, bosses etc.)

I like Brian's theme as well but I don't think it suits his level. Maybe best suited for the start page

The Bisque/Blueberry pie song hurts my ears!

Yeah, like PB said, I think the Brian song you made would suit better as a main theme or a menu theme.

The Brian song I think is perfect for a bonus level or a credits screen.

The first song is a little bit jarring.

I like the options song.

Good job!

As for the Options, I think that sounds alright.

I think bells is too christmas-like. There are no bells in south pole I think.
Brians military-carneval theme was ok, make it chips and its ready to go i think.

I've put up two versions of an idea for a title theme type of tune. Before anything else, I'm going to be working on a lot of different main (title) themes because I want to carve out a definite melody which can be interwoven throughout the rest of the soundtrack as done in a lot of games.

Edit: ooh, just wanted to say that I'm very fond of the funky kind of tunes in the early Sonic games, and I think that all the levels can be covered in that sort of style, whether it's a scary/eerie or happy funny level.
