Yesterday I began working on a snowy/arctic tileset. It's very small right now, here's what we've got:

Feel 100% free to edit and make new tiles/sprites! The more the merrier.

Wish list:
- Finish and expand ice platforms (walls, bottoms, slopes, etc.)
- Slippery ice tiles
- Rocks, ice chunks, icicles, other decorations
- Pine trees
- Igloos
- Icebergs and background tiles
- Animals (polar bear and penguins?)
- Humans, dressed accordingly
- Anything you want that fits

We don't need to do these all right away, these are just rough examples of what we'd like to have eventually. Go ahead and add to the list if you'd like :)

Before submitting, read through these two links:

That poor boy, is going to get cold...

Speedy, I think it is super awesome that you are kickstarting a new set!

Since you asked for it, here is a banner for you ;)

I like the edit of the jungle tiles a lot! I thought I try again, removing the grass and editing the colors:

The rocks underneath the thick layer of snow probably need to be very different from the jungle rocks to look interesting.. Maybe very sharp rocks mountain, mostly slopes and not so much walls?
Or perhaps just big chunks of ice/snow, instead of rocks. The recolored rocks could be used for solid floor.

For the wishlist: Pine trees

I am looking forward to see where this goes!

Oooh, awesome! Thanks for the banner. I like the edit, good thinking. I'll work on separating the mountain rocks from the jungle ones, make them look unique.

Are you still working on this? I just discovered - this thread , perhaps it gives some inspiration.

Also, I was thinking, perhaps the diagonal back wall could be a slab of ice?
