The water jet itself looks cool, but the "link" with the water is a bit strange, you can see it more when the jet falls down. And the water looks uninteresting compared to the jet and lacks detail.

| I think the main problem is a lack of feedback from the water's surface. It should bounce back and produce some water circles. |

Cool stuff! But now you are going from, fake pixelly water, to super hyper realistic splash effect! Make that splash effect more cartoony :)
