Hi, PJ!
Can you comment on the following shorthands, used to produce new character angles by exploiting isometry properties (rotation preserves lengths and angles)
from side views to isometry
from isometry to side view
are there more robust way to do this?

They look pretty bad, in my opinion, especially the top one. There aren't any good shortcuts to this stuff. You can (and should) use whatever original you have as a comparison to ensure the proportions are the same, but there isn't much that you can just copy and paste without it looking wonky, aside from minor details that aren't heavily influenced by perspective.
