Hi there pixel artists! My name's Carl. I'm currently working on a follow up to a previous game I worked on.

I'm in need of a pixel artist that can handle animations for me. There's also a very good chance that I'd need you to add polish to the sprites I make, or make some additional sprites that match the style. I'm looking for someone that can really bring the game to life with their animation skills, as animations can make a world of difference!

I want you to be readily available, so that I can contact you when sprites are ready for animation, or when I need some additional sprites making.

Here is a WIP (Work in progress) mockup screenshot, of what I have made. Hopefully this mockup will be able to help you decide if you feel that you can animate the sprites that I'd be wanting you to work on, and match the style, if I needed you to make some additional sprites/polish existing ones.

Like the subject line states, this is work that I will be paying you for. Payment will be based on the current task that has been given to you. For instance, I might ask you to do 5 animations for a sprites for 1 task, which you'd receive payment for after doing the 5 animations. Another time I might ask you to draw some sprites.

Please note that I pay upon delivery of the assets. I do NOT give payment up front.

I had a bad experience in the past, where a freelancer insisted on being paid up front. He kept coming up with excuses as to what was taking so long and never actually delivered what was promised.

If it makes you feel safer, I can have a contract written up, that will protect both of us, to ensure that you get payment and I get what I've paid for.

You can post in this thread, or send the examples of your pixel art, animations and your rates to mailto:enchantainment@live.co.uk - enchantainment@live.co.uk Also please state if you accept payment via PayPal or bank transfer.

This isn't a first come first serve deal either. I'm going to be letting all of you showcase your skills and choose the best person for the job. I'll be leaving this open until next Wednesday, September 9th.

Remember I'm looking for a reliable, experienced pixel artist/animator that can bring a static sprites to life. I look forward to seeing all your stuff!

Thank you everyone that has shown an interest in the position. I've now closed it, as I'm going to go through all the portfolios that have been sent to me, and decide on who I feel is the best fit for the project.

Thank you again to everyone that has taken the time to get in contact with me. If you don't hear back from me, take it as a no this time, but perhaps we may work together in the future!
