Hi, would there be any issue when trying to submit this one?: Not enought score? Maybe a little bit plain? For some reason I think it is not enought to be approved. Really, but at least I learned a thing or two. I was living in a shell in which I thought pixel art was just pixel drawing (I mean without color palette limitation), so I made this drawing in PC Paint 3.1 (released as freeware by its author: http://www.shdon.com/software/pcpaint - link )
It can be run through DOSBOX. So I configured DOSBOX to emulate tandy graphics adapter, and this is the result of my first pixel art attempt with tandy 16 colors. I've seen what can be made with 16 colors by looking at some experts or high level artists here in PJ, it's impresive what can be done. But for now this is only what I can make. I didn't know what was clearly the function of the gallery, I thought it was something like a private portfolio, where by some other voting process pieces were chosen to be in the "public gallery". I thought PixelJoint was something like facebook where you care about what you publish and you did it as you wanted. Never thought that by trying to submit something to the gallery you were really trying to put your pieces side by side with the experts' ones!!!!! I mean, I thought there was a really private gallery. I Don't think PJ way is a bad idea, because that way PJ assures its quality on the web. So that explains why is it so much difficult to get a piece approved. And in the other hand makes me understand PixelJoint is not a portfolio holder. But if it is intended to, then how could you put a begginer's piece alongside an expert's one???!!!
Oh globalization, you destroy us yard kings!!!! (that could be bad or good, depending on the king's growing ratio ) .
Simply my way of thinking was made obsolete. I was very stupid in not trusting only in God but in my abilities, there's nothing humankind can do to save its own self. Here you can see my humiliation, May God forgives me. Trust in God or you will crash the same as me, no matter how high you think your nest is. Now I feel really stupid.
Yes I also noticed, (too late), the warrior's helmet crest looks like a brush.

I think this piece would get into the gallery. Getting into the gallery has more to do with whether the piece meets the sites definition of pixel art than skill level, and I think this piece would fit. The main idea is that there is consideration into the pixel placement, which there seems to be here. It may not be what the experts think would be the best way to place the pixels but it still seems care was put into it.

Thank you both, I thought I was good at pixel art, but in here my eyes were opened, maybe I will try some other things .
(Sorry I pressed "report" instead "reply" in your comment. ) That was stupid.

Post your pics in this WIP section and discuss them with experts themselves ;) As for the gallery I have some nice pics in it but they don't have much "likes". Hence I can say my gallery is a private one:D
