I'm currently looking for someone to create a handful of sprite designs for me, preferably in the style of a high quality 16bit game. They will need to be fairly large, detailed and colourful as they are intended for a side scrolling beat 'em up, with a fantasy/post apocalyptic punk setting.

For the time being this will mostly likely be short term work as it's currently about helping me to establish character designs, though may lead to more. Regarding pay, I'm not here to cheap anyone out, but would rather discuss it on an individual basis, I'm happy to pay well anyone who can provide the kind of reliability, consistency and quality I'm looking for.

Come say hello if interested.

Hi. 16 bit pixel art is what I do best. I price things reasonably and always try to do work within the client's budget if possible.

My portfolio is http://tristaph.greywyvern.com

My last large project was a 16 bit RPG called Crystal Picnic. Check it out on my portfolio.

Email me at tristaph@gmail.com or PM me here if interested.

Hello once more.

Since posting this vacancy I've been fortunate enough to make contact with some exceptionally talented individuals, and am very pleased with how the project is unfolding so far, however, it seems that I now need to take on another spriter to help cut down the workload on my current artists.

I'm very interested in the services of someone who has experience in creating energetic and dynamic animations, to help with the creation of the characters movesets, which will have a 2D Street Fighter Alpha/Streets of Rage feel to their visuals. Anyone who can work quickly and consistently in this area - as there is a huge amount of work to do, and I will most likely require your dedicated services for several months, please get in touch, and we can discuss details from there.

Thankyou to everyone who's applied so far, I'm getting a lot of interest and have a lot of mails to answer, so apologies if it takes me a while to respond, but I'll be sure to reply to all of you.

Despite having found a number of talented applicants, I'm still looking for more people to fill this role, there's lots of work to be done on this project, so if you have talent, can work quickly and reliably, then come say hello, I might be able to use you.

The games development is now well underway, and I now require another artist to help me with additional in game character artwork, and this is the style I have in mind:

I'd be very interested in hearing from anyone who can produce the above sort of work for me, at a reasonable price.

For those interested, this is the same project I mentioned recently on these forums

http://pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=25218

The game (CelesSteel) has progressed rapidly since I originally posted this thread, and has been featured in an article on Siliconera, so it's an exciting time for all of us working on it. Whilst I don't have any vacancies for art roles available immediately, there may be in the near future as development speeds up, if anyone has any further questions on the game, please feel free to ask on the linked thread.

Update.

I now require the services of an artist to help me with some promotional material for the game. This likely won't be pixel art, as I'm seeking someone with more of a comic book style to help me with a piece I have in mind, which may lead to more work as the project progresses. I must stress that the standard of art I am seeking must be striking and professional, so this job offer is aimed at artists who consider their abilities up to a high standard, please feel free to contact me either via PM or the thread if you believe you fit the bill.
