When something goes on the queue, it appears for Level2+ members with "Yes" and "No" buttons. People can click those depending on whether they think the piece should be accepted to the gallery. Periodically, mods will look at the queue and approve/send back pieces based on their own opinions, but they also take the public queue votes into account.
Things that are definitely acceptable tend to get processed quickly, because the popular vote gets a consensus easily, and the mods tend to agree. Things that are definitely not good (e.g. art that's not pixel art at all) take a bit longer. I don't know why that is, I assume it's because the process of rejecting is a hassle, and because some people mistakenly vote "yes" without noticing some problems, causing a lack of consensus.
Works like yours take the longest of all because they're neither obviously acceptable, nor outright unacceptable. They have a hard time reaching popular consensus, so mods tend to give them more time to see whether the public is leaning in any particular direction, or whether the current direction is just statistical noise. In addition to that, I'm sure some people avoid voting when they aren't certain, so these works are likely to have fewer votes, which means the mods have an even harder time seeing whether people want that submission in the gallery or not. The judgement on such pieces is often very subjective, which is why the mods are reluctant to accept or deny based on their own opinions alone.
If you want your work to get through the queue faster, make it more obviously finished and polished. Your current pieces suffer from jagged lines, odd pixel placement, and overall often look unfinished/unpolished. Because they're technically pixel art and because you're calling them finished (by submitting them), but because they don't look finished, it's hard for there to be consensus on whether to accept them, so they languish on the queue.
Post your work on the forum and get some feedback, and implement some of that feedback before you submit to the gallery. Most of your submissions have very simple problems that are trivial to fix with just a little more work, mostly cleaning up your lines and clusters to be less jagged. If you post on the forum, you'll probably get comments to that effect. If you don't know what I mean, tell me, and I will do a pixel-over of one of your pieces to clean it up.
