Who is this?:
Hey, I'm Driad. I'm a 2nd year games design student working on a finale project. You guessed it, it's a 2D game. The game has to be ready by about June 2016, and it will be shown in E3. Pretty cool, huh?
This is unpaid because, as I'm a simple college student, I simply don't have the money to achieve the sprites I require, nor do I have the skill myself. I don't mind doing rev-share if this gets of the ground, but it's no guarantee, hence.
Alright, what resources?:
I will be showing off a few levels and the basic mechanics of the game at E3. Therefore, the resources I need are actually pretty few.
A good similarity in terms of aesthetic is The Valley Rule.
By the way, the colour palette will be different, I prefer games with a nice low saturation, think sword&sorcery colour palette, yknow? If you have assets that you dont mind giving away but would fit with a recolour/anything, go right ahead.
2 character sprites - these have a few basic animations (walking, jumping, walljumping), and are 32x32. Theyre the same sprite but with like, 4 pixel difference.
~8-14 tileset blocks - depending on how much you wanna do, a few basic 32x32 tileset blocks will do me just fine, anything to get me out of the black-block-placeholder hell. This includes blocks, grass, vines, water, etc. This also includes background tiles!
~2-4 "powerup" sprites - The basic mechanic in the game is powerups. Don't worry, it's just another 32x32 sprite, but still.
2 misc sprites - A "crane" at the top of the screen will be present, as well as an arrow sprite.
