Hi,
I'm new to the site and created a piece with a gradient background, I was told to revise the piece and try resubmitting it.
I deleted the background layer and re-did the image but upon resubmitting it I have got the same message despite every pixel having been painted myself with no no filters, paintbrushes, gradient fills, etc ?
Thanks
Jim

Are you sure you uploaded a pixelled version? I still see the version with the NPA gradient :/ Once you do update the file you need to also hit the 'submit' button so it goes back into the public queue.

Okay, I see there was some kind of unintended gradiant, or rather faded colour in the bottom right hand corner. I have edited it and resubmitted.
Thanks

I'll review closely your update.
Seems like theres a lot of stuff going on in the pink area that looks odd.
Are you pixelling with semi opaque pixels?

I did use a semi opaque pink for some of the highlights on the character I believe, is that not allowed?

Semi trans of any kind is not well received in a pixel gallery where control is important.
That's not to say its bad or wrong, pixelart or not pixelart.
It simply gets labeled more of a hybrid than pixelart.
Anything like that can be manually made so its not really needed ;)
Review the sticky reads (pinned) link in my sig for useful info if you haven't already.
