This is my first real try at anti-aliasing. I'd like to know what people think before going further.

Where you're doing AA, you're choosing the pixel placement well. However, you're AAing in the wrong places - you're AAing the low-contrast areas that don't need AA at all, and leaving the high-contrast areas without any AA. That said, a sprite this small and with relatively-low contrast like this doesn't really need AA. I recommend choosing a more high-contrast subject for practice.
