Hey all,
I'm Alex, one of two guys in our early 20's working on our first game, and we're looking for somebody to join us on this project and hopefully carry on with us for future projects as a part of our team. The team, currently just me and a fellow named Ed, currently go by MSU Games, though that may be changed.
We're located a few miles outside of Bristol, so if you are in the area that would be a massive positive and we'll grab a pint or three, though anywhere in the South/South West of England is OK.
For payment, we plan to split revenue evenly between us all, then a little left over for the "company" itself. For example, 30% Artist, 30% myself, 30% other member and 10% for MSU Games.
We do not currently have a website, though Ed has experience in marketing online and shall be dealing with that at a later date.
The Game:
We're creating a 2D platformer with influences from the classic Megaman games and the more recent Shovel Knight. It's story and plot have been planned out almost entirely, though some things are subject to change and can be changed at any time. Should everything go to plan, the game will be released by Christmas.
The Work:
We're basically looking for somebody to do all the artwork. That will be tilesets, sprites/spritesheets, GUI, etc. I personally was doing the art up until last week, at which point I gave up for the 5th time and decided to go back to coding.
