Hi all, I sent a piece for the old days challenge and was not accepted for "miscellaneus reasons". Had I violated some of the challenge rules? Or was it for the piece quality? If it was for quality, well, I'm new to pixels, and given the short time that was what I could put together.

This image?
It's probably because it doesn't seem to be finished, the pixelling is very rough. There are stray pixels and some barely-distinguishable colours, the "shadows" don't convey any form, and strange irregularities in the silhouettes (like those one~two-pixel dips). You have the start of a very interesting image here, but it needs more refinement and pixel-level care.

Welcome to Pixel Joint nivlat!
Your piece contains a non-greyscale color; the white is off by a little bit. You can use the image spec checker to verify such things, see here:

It is also hard to tell what the piece is depicting. If you want more detailed criticism on this point, feel free to PM me and we can chat in private.

My bad I didn't realize that white :) I must have hand-picked it, I don't think basic palettes have "non-white" whites or do they? Thanks for the quick reply
