Hey all :P
I'm currently working on the new version of my playable flash signature
which I use in some forums, this new one is being some kind of medieval
beat them all. Most graphics I use are rips which I sometimes edit.
The problem is that I miss some animations, that's why I'd like
someone(let's say...you) to animate 1,2 or 3 of these lil' guys :

[done]
I need them running (or walking, as you wish) and attacking. If you are very motivated, you can do a "being hitten" frame too.
There is no color limit nor frame limitation (3,4,5,...it's up to you).
Feel free to do only part of the job, for it's better than nothing ^^
Many thanks in advance :)
I can give credit to those who want me to.
To conclude, a screenshot from the actual thing :

Well...I had expected no one would give a sh*t about it but still I'm
proud to annouce that the engine is now 100% complete and that I'm
ready to add...hum...many..*cough*...various animated monsters in it
such as goblins.

Well, like many pixelartists have told me, why would someone want to use their time on someone else's project when they can do their own. Yes, it does suck, but it is the truth.
Best of luck getting an artist, fil_razorback.

Tepko >> Yup, I posted the same thread on Pixelopolis and it got very few visits compared to the paid offers :(
Demon >> Actually, I had asked Larwick if I could code Rustbug
for him but he already had someone so finally I am coding an Adarias's
project. It doesn't bother me working for other people's games but it
seems very few people do think the same. *so unfaiiiir*
I don't understand, do people pixel/code only for earning money ? I
code because I like doing games so I don't care "whose" game I am doing.
Anyway, thanks for bumping the thread huhuh...

No people don't only do it for the money. But if you have limited time, and are already working on a project or two (paid or unpaid), it's hard to squize in a project for someone you never met.
Most people here have work/school/lives to spend their time on too, and it's hard enough to find time finishing one game.
By the way, your flash engine looks pretty cool. I'm a flash programmer too (check out my work on http://www.gamesquid.com - www.gamesquid.com ). If I could pixel, I'd help you out, but I can't. Good luck!

Oh, I played brainbot !
You pimped it on Flashkit, it's nice game ^^
Thanks for the "good luck" (sorry, I don't know the proper word so I quote) ^^
I got the weaponless gobelin done ripping the original game :)

I knew I've seen your name somewhere. I actually played one of your games too, Poy Poy or something. It's a small world :)

I actually tried to animate one of your goblins a few days ago, but it turned out way too scrappy so I didn't bother finishing it. :'(

Thank you very much for trying ^^
Next time, don't hesitate to show it...I don't need top quality animation ^^

So you've used ripped character sprites for you game so far? I don't encourage that at all. I know its done a lot in indy gaming communities but I'd still feel like I'm stealing, and unfairly taking the credit for the work of others. I'd need to flash the words 'I DID NOT DRAW THESE SPRITES' every few seconds or I'd feel guilty.
Any who! The game actually plays quite nicely, you're programming skills are impressive enough to get my thumbs up! Nice work mate. Although I must say, I couldn't play much of it because my laptop doesn't have a numpad. I'd consider changing the controls for that reason.
Best of luck with your programming! PS. I have a couple of games that are in need of coders myself ( http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2273 - here and http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2617 - here ). And I'm a friendly collaborator, I promise! /self plug

Hey, fil, one question: do you apply gravity to your engine?
And I suck at animating, so..^^;
