I dumpster I was planning on using for a larger piece. I don't really like it but I can't see areas in which to improve.

Looks pretty good. Maybe make the top a little lighter, relative to the sides? Also, I think it could use some shadowing in the upper part of the inside.

I'd make the highlights brighter. Not too much brighter, but just enough to accent it.

Nice shape you've got going. How about some graffiti?

I don't know if the highlights has made much of a difference, but it was the only shad I could find that wasn't insanely bright or fightenly dull.

mmkay here's my edit:

I added some highlights and I also cleaned up a bit. You had 32 colors on such a small piece. A lot of the shades of green didn't really stand out and weren't helping the piece. I got it down to 28 but that's quite a bit for such a small piece.

You don't have to take my advice about the colors I like it better with the highlights and the inside of the dumpster looks more realistic, IMO.

Unfortunately on your piece, the inside looks smaller than it actually is, the back wall and bottom is actually covered by the metal case.
I had a pallette of 8 greens and about 8 greys for this, but the annoying changes of PC to work on it meant that it got changed alot, that was a mistake... my bad.
I'm disapointed that you removed my dents, but the intact frame actually looks alright with the highlight.
Thanks, you've helped alot =]

Well, it IS just an edit. You can tweak the inside but the shadows don't appear right on your version.

The best way to keep track of color control is to actually place your pallate by your work. That way you can make sure you always use that amount of colors.

I still do stick by the highlights however. It may give it more of a crisp look but.. I personally feel it gives it more contrast.

Maybe Iso master jalonso will comment. :P

I'm not too pleased with the dustbin, although I never have been any good at Iso circles and the like.

The shape of it is fine, might want to make it darker though. Looking very good.
