 what is this is it some kind of rating system or something ? i never had the idea to ask about it

It's a rating system, yes. The total number of points given to a piece using this system determine its placement in the Weekly Showcase and monthly tops. Faves and comments do not, as far as I know, contribute to the rankings - faves are just so you can find the work you like more easily later, and comments are for engaging with the artist. |
