I attempted to make a fairly realistic eye, with few colors, in a limited space. I used three skin tones, a black, a white, and a purple-ish blue. Its in a 90 by 50 pixel block.

I just wanted to know how I can improve.

I'm tempted to say this was a photo color decrease because your dithering is so random. Any reason for that?

It's usually a bad idea to shade with black on color. Try changing the black dither-shading to a different color that blends better with the skin tone... the dithering could use some cleaning up, too. Doing those two things will help this piece tremendously.

It was done randomly for the most part. I took the pencil tool in paint to do the outline, and went from there. Lots of strokes, and only a little bit of cleaning up(except in the Iris and Pupil.).

And Stichy, thanks, I'll do that.
