I have noticed that Chrome, Edge and Firefox show that Pixel Joint doesn't have HTTPS, SSL. I'm sure you all are doing your best to secure our info and protect our privacy and lots of great up and coming websites don't have HTTPS, SSL, yet I really like PJ so far and I think it'd be a shame if people didn't join because they didn't think the site was secure enough.

Is there a plan to add SSL, get certs, i.e. HTTPS for PJ? If not, I have some experience with this, and I'm a fairly busy person but I'd be happy to provide some limited consultation to help you all get https set up. If you want to check my small design company website I recently stood up on Google cloud platform using SSL HTTP with Geotrust cert via 1&1 domain hosting, check out http://www.jbkp.io - https://www.jbkp.io and feel free to inspect my cert chain via Firefox, Chrome, Edge. No matter which browser it should show SSL, HTTPS secure lock in the URL on all browsers.

I worked hard to verify it works great on all browsers, removing all "mixed" content because even with certs you can run into content or url references like http in your CSS or HTML that make your site appear insecure to browsers. Anyway, if you want any assistance let me know. I'm not trying to sell services or anything, I'm not in that business. I'm in the art and design business and I help people with websites and information security on the side (it's actually my "day job", art is the fun stuff I'd rather be doing). Thanks,

PJ is currently in the begin stages of getting a complete rebuild. You're right that the security / privacy aspects need to be looked at and will mention this to Sedge, PJ's creator. I don't think he will require assistance since he is a very knowledgeable dev; it's just a matter of putting it in the list of upgrades.

Welcome to PJ by the way

I think this needs to be revisited now that let's encrypt is a thing (it's a free ssl certificate provider that has widespread support), especially considering how many users probably use the same password on other sites. Security for users should be a higher priority, especially when it comes an no cost.
