I can not understand why they did not approve this pixel art, and why not consider it a pixel art ...

The gallery is for finished works, so WIP stages aren't allowed.
In addition, your images is blurry and appears to have been resized automatically. So, even though it may have started out as pixel art, the image as uploaded is not pixel art.

Either of these factors alone is enough for a work to be declined.

I mounted this grid simply to show the process and prove that it is a pixel art, and the fact that the quality has fallen was the need to post the image in my blog to be able to attach it here in the forum, the pixel art that was posted is only the last

Hi tintreiro,
I sent it back, sorry for not leaving a comment on it earlier!

It's a borderline piece, which is why it's been hanging in the queue for so long. None of the moderators have been willing to take a decision on it for a while.

I ultimately sent it back because of these three reasons:
The transparency effect seems to be automated, which is not allowed in the gallery
You have over a 100 colors, it's bumped up because of the semi transparency but overall it shows very little palette control
A lot of pixel placement seems very rough. Lines are jaggy, shading on the mountain seems to be done scribbly, not according to our guideline of control over every single pixel.

All three of those by itself would have made it slip through probably, as it is a nice drawing, but the three of them combined makes it unfit for the gallery in it's current state.

Sorry again for not commenting on it earlier, as it's a complicated case (hence the long wait in the queue) it's an effort to take action and explain action. I'll be looking into how we can prevent this in the future!

@Hapiel
Really, so now auto-resizing, transparancy and 24-bit images with no-control-bloated-palettes are not on their own disqualifiers!?! Hapiel, have you guys gone crazy? Just beacuse a few ppl want to commit suicide, you don't put a "just-a-little" cyanide in the soup for everyone!

And btw. in the Jalonso days, even without all those problems, this image would still be a borderline case due to the unrefined/unfinished/oekaki nature.

@DawnBringer; of course they still are. Autoresizing is a no no. Transparency is usually a disqualifier unless one can think it could as well be placed by hand. Palettes with no control is a blurry definition but usually we eliminate pieces that are abnormally high on color count.

Of course you must understand that people (even some long term pj members) are often asking us to act more loosely when denying pieces and we hesitate to send pieces back and even when we do, we try not to hurt people's feelings. We can't act as harsh as Jal :/

Jal had it right...trying to lower that bar just invites a flood of problems that you will not be able to contain.
