Hello there! My name is Zekkonex. I have made a Pixel Art School Discord Server for people to improve their pixel art skills. We have three different ranks, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Advanced is split into topics, currently color theory and palettes, animation, and texture. We also offer electives, such as music and two-dimensional art. Upon join, you will only be able to see a few channels, none of which you can type in. Follow the instructions in #registration to get access to the normal channels. >discord ZOMG! Why do people keep reinventing stuff? It seems like IRCs and mailing lists are too old fashioned for cool kids today. Because now we have telegram, watsup, and countless other programs. Currently almost every programmer and company push their own email/irc clone with centralized server. I personally just refuse to install them, because they spy, spam with ads and waste resources, especially on my phone, which I need in a working state. I would love to disable SMS too, because it is used only for spam, yet there appears to be no way  /end_of_rant |

We have specific levels of help for people at most stages of learning, from beginners to people who have been doing it for a long time. Our teachers are friendly and always willing to help, and our space is practically unlimited. We also have an actual system along with normal chat rooms, and contests occasionally. Also, I haven't seen any other pixel art servers dedicated to learning that has a system. We have a registration process so that people can be put in classes of their skill level. |
