          | Hey! I saw this free assets by ansimuz ( https://ansimuz.itch.io/gothicvania-cemetery - https://ansimuz.itch.io/gothicvania-cemetery ) and thought they are good, altough hero is too clunky so I changed and upscaled and changed again.
 Original:

 Mine:

Do you think is different enough to qualify as original work?

Or I change it more? Maybe the legs... hmm..

Any other comment on how to improve/change her more?

I'm interested in animating her and do something metroidvania style with her, someone wants to help or collaborate? I can program and do some art.

PS: Some inspiration in 2b from nier automata, obviously.

          | I'm trying to make her more femenine. And I realized she needs not start with a weapon, because in metroidvanias player change the weapon type often.
Still there is something that not fits. She is too manly maybe.

I don't know about the legs pose...

          | Nice color schemes on the leftmost one! I think it's different enough that you can use this as long as you reference your inspiration. The blindfold and hair are also very cool.
Personally, I actually like your first leg stance best because it looks the most stable - you can check out reference images of warrior stances for inspiration! Also, I like her top, but those leggings would be extremely impractical for fighting. They'd almost certainly slip down and bunch up. Plus her thighs are totally exposed and vulnerable! It seems to detract a bit from her warrior status. Maybe consider having leggings that cover her entire leg instead of thigh socks? It would still be a cool costume, and she would feel so much more like she was ready to take down enemies.

You're definitely improving with the arms, but her shoulders look like they're facing us straight-on, whereas her hips and face and tilted away, which might be something to fix.

Finally, is she wearing a shoe on her shadowed leg? It's hard to tell!

Great work with this. Looking forward to seeing more drafts!
