If you have signed a contract with the client where you waive the copyright on the contracted work, in that case you have the right to publicize this work only if you have a permit from that client.

That is why it is always good to enter into a contract a clause where you retain the moral right to publish your work in your portfolio and similar places for the purpose of self-promotion.

If you have transferred all the rights to the client, in which case I do not recommend you to post those works.

If you are still the owner of the copyright, in that case I don't see why you can't post your work anywhere, including this place...

And of course, the image must be completely your work.

I think so. But be aware that a client can always be dissatisfied with your decision, especially if he or she does not benefit. Unfounded complaints are not uncommon nowadays. And be aware that you can lose that client by making such decisions as you are announcing something that he concluded was morally his because he paid for your work.

It is always better to separate those two components, so if you want to publish something under your name, simply do something new for yourself and just yours.
