It is a container of garbage, there is one by street.

The outlines are all incredibly bold.
Try to add some details like window shine or brickwork.

Yeah, you definately need some texturing and shading here... on the buildings in particular. They look rather bland.
Also, it seems a little strange that the garbage container is in front of a door (at least, I think that's a door).

Something tells me this wasn't done pixel by pixel. You probably did this in Paint with the square tools, except the helicopter. And while some tools are okay once in awhile in pixel art, pixel art made completely through the use of tools isn't pixel art.

I don't think there was a need to say that. Sure, he may not be the best, but he's trying. He's asking for crit on this one piece, not all of his pixel art. There's no need to make cheap shots at him.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I don't actually don't mind Flixen's non textured approuch to most of his work. Some artists get so caught up in texturing and lighting that they lose grasp of simple, yet effective, pixel graphics. Flixen's work would have suited well 15 years ago when we were still playing Commander Keen.
Aleiav is right though, lets concentrate on this work in particular. I don't think it's worthwhile suggesting anything until we have an idea of what look Carl Flixen is going for. We can't all say 'Shade and add texture, it looks flat,' if a simple, retro style is what he is going for. I want to hear Flixen's intentions.

I agree.
However, carl should still learn about techniques such as AAing, selout etc. as without them he is lacking what's needed to give this a boost. Such as the helicopter being jagged/blury.
Also, i don't believe the addition of the green thing on the bottom helps with the composition atall. If you're gunna keep things in this style, try to do it for the entire piece.
I think the shaded edges of those window things looks good over the orange, so it should also be added over the dark grey wall ones.
Also, even if an area is meant to be white, this does not mean you have to use pure white to show it. i suggest the pure white colour for some of the building is replaced with a light grey or such.

Though it might do complicated things, it is not my style and because
of it I complain, I love retro and simply. For this work inspire by one
of the artist Craig Robinson (a genius).

Carl, i think the main problem that separates Craig Robinson's work to yours is the size of his canvas. Each of his buildings are around 25x60 px, whereas yours is ...er about 180x440 px. Because you're using such a large res for your buildings, making it simple yet still having detail is far harder. If you look at his, you can see both a simplistic style and yet you can still notice many detail's he's added in, sometimes only a pixel or two in size.
Mind i can still find lots to crit on his work aswel...

...such as the bizarre and unneccessary cases of dithering that appear in certain areas.
But back to Carl's work. Larwick is right about the resolution. I'd still like to hear your intentions for this work Mr. Flixen. If you're just going for an oversized simplistic street scene then you've got it, so is there really any point in us commenting? There is really nothing to learn from this work unless you want to progress with certain techniques, also mentioned by Larwick.
Or perhaps this is a mockup of graphics for a game you'd like to make? In which case, lets see some sprites and some animation!
Basically I just want to know what the point of the work is, because it doesn't appear to be challenging any of your audience or showing any advancement of skill on your behalf.

In the building of the left side, in the gray parts, that texture is the best or better different?

Don't do either. The left one is granite, and i doubt the outside of a building would be made of granite. The right one is too subtle to pixel on a large scale, and is for the inside walls of someones house, not the outside. I think.

are you going to post the whole piece again? i'd like to see the composition as a whole if you make enough edits. what's the rainbow thing, a door? maybe just make a regular door with a sign on it or something. the tv antenna looks good.

Looking good...And it's good to see you stretching outside your comfort zone of those little guys...
I think this has a lot of potential...My one reccomendation (atm) would be to add another color into the window color ramp so as to better present the shine...Something along this line. (Hex value: #99FFFF)...With the saturation reduced to about 50-70 should work I think...

I have thousands of doubts on putting a tree opposite to the bakery
It is a tree (in autumn) that not this one finished

the tree is a bit wonky and obscures the bakery, which isn't good. it doesn't have much contrast and is a little hard to see. the texture thing looks good.

osht there are trees growing out of the sidewalk! my bad :)
in that case, maybe add more contrast to it? because it sort of looks like a design on the wall, and shade it a little bit

looks pretty good. try not to use gradients on things like the overhang or the balconies. you can use less colors and still get the same effect.
