Looking for a good 16-bit pixel artist - strict 16 colour/4096 colour palette limit.
Game code is complete. 8-bit graphics (Commodore 64) for game are complete.
There are approximately 170 tiles to do with each tile being 24x24 pixels, plus a 320x200 title screen. Some tiles are animated (e.g. 3 frame loop for water).
The existing Commodore 64 tiles are also 24x24, but using the fixed Commodore 64 palette and the original artist had to obey Commodore 64 restrictions with where colours can go. The new tiles will also be 24x24 but using an unrestricted palette (4096 colours) and unrestricted colours within the tile.
The existing animations are limited due to Commodore 64 memory restrictions. These restrictions go away for the 16 bit port so you can do more if you have the capacity.
You will have to decide how much of the existing graphics you want to tweak and how much you want to redo.
Must be able to speak English.
Payment via Paypal.
Include sample of work, hourly rate, and availability details.
