Hi everyone!

I'm looking for some feedback on this WIP piece below. Please ignore the perspective view in the middle, it's a placeholder.

The main issues I'm stuck on are:

  • Are the leaves everywhere too distracting, if so what can be done to improve this but keep the same design?
  • Is the red/brown frame around the view too bright? Some feedback said yes but I'm not sure, and I like the red.
  • I made the bottom buttons and mini-map more simple to stand out, should they be more detailed?
  • Any other feedback welcome.

    Nice work, cool start.

    Yes i think the leaves are distracting. Maybe you can change the colors to grey/brown/blue shades? And add black as the darkest tint? That way you can put more focus on the bright gui elements. It doesn't need to be green to be perceived as leaves!

    For me the brown frame does work.

    The portraits are cool, but the buttons are really hidden in the background. More contrast is going to work! Good luck :)

    - Try with leaves more bigger and with small shadows.
    - I think yes, is too big.
    - Try with other colors and not green.

    I love how big leaves looks. Maybe change the background color of the avatars so the hair can be more appreciated and add a item (Maybe potion or book) on the second slot of wizard.
