Hey guys,

to fill an upcoming vacancy, we are looking for a graphics designer / pixel artist for a steady freelance job (job is repeating monthly) or permanent position.

What We Need Done
  • Small pixel art animations / narratives (“Smileys”), similar to digital stickers
  • ~10 to 12 animations each month, occasionally incl. variants, e.g. female/male
  • Your job: Creation of animations as detailed by us

  • Examples: https://www.instagram.com/knuddelssmileys/ - instagram.com/knuddelssmileys or see below


What We Provide
  • Recurring monthly gig (this particular product line has existed for several years)
  • >1.000 Smileys already exist (for stylistic reference or partial re-use)
  • PSD template files will be provided (i.e. different poses and standard elements)


What We're Looking For
  • (Freelance) Graphic Designer
  • Pixel art and animation experience
  • Inclination towards long term commitment

sounds interesting to me. I don't have the biggest pixel art refrence catalog on my profiles, but I think I could do these animations and the creation of some art additions. If I can do those every month depends on the complexity and if the graphics are provided. I would be open for some experimental comissions. Hey Jana,

I looked at your stuff and though it's not pixel art I think it looks really nice :) We will take it under consideration.

I think one of our next steps will be sending out some assessment tasks to applicants this week, so you should be hearing from us soon.

As for everyone else, we are still in the process of looking for applications :)
