Check this out... anyone had anything similar?
DeviantArt is awesome.
I had a message from DeviantArt yesterday that:
"DeviantArt Protect has detected a similar NFT
Our image recognition software has found an NFT similar to your deviation, "Dragon Dusk." This NFT is located on a public blockchain outside of DeviantArt and may be listed for sale on one or more NFT marketplaces. If your art's been used without permission, we suggest contacting those marketplaces to have it delisted."
DeviantArt alerts you and then handholds you through the IP takedown process. I've no interest in engaging with anyone directly, just let due process take its course.
What a cheek though! I'm a complete amateur and only do pixel art for fun, wouldn't consider selling any of my stuff nor do I think I'm anywhere near the quality to do so. My joy of creation comes from sharing it freely and PJ is the best PixelArt site to do so.
But on the other hand... someone like my stuff enough to nick it
