Hi everyone,
I recently released a pixel art editor on the app store, named: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/little-pixels/id6444051288 - Little Pixels . The prime idea was to propose a tool that was easy to use on a small iPhone screen in portrait mode: - To avoid having to zoom a lot to be able to place pixels precisely, i chose to implement a cursor pattern : one thumb to move a cursor, the other to apply the selected tool effects. - Canvas zoom and move feature are achieved with 2 fingers gesture. It's also possible to double tap on the screen to switch rapidly between the actual zoom in and the full screen zoom out. It allows us to get a quick acces to the complete view of the drawing, without the need of a tiny preview window. - Tools & actions menu is crafted to allow simple and fast selection. All you need is at the bottom of the screen, and distributed beetween left and right thumbs. - Color selection is achieved through a quick list menu or a detailed color editor. Features : - Tools : - color selector, - pen, - eraser, - shapes : line, rectangle, filled rectangle, ellipse, filled ellipse, - color bucket, - color eyed dropper, - layers manager, - layer move, - horizontal & vertical gradient [*], - ruler [*], - selection - rectangle selection, - magic wand selection [*], - lasso selection [*], - selection rotation, - vertical & horizontal selection flipping, - selection move, - stamp [*], - canvas temporary horizontal flipping [*]: a trick to easealy detect if your pixel art proportion are wrong, mainly useful for character design, - canvas sizes : - width and height from 16px up to 256px, - predifined squared canvas sizes & custom rectangular canvas sizes, - colors with alpha chanel. 
Little Pixels is a freemium app: it can be dowloaded for free, the main features are available and some ads are displayed. A premium version in app purchase is proposed. It removes ads and unlocks tools (those marked with [*] in the list above). Sincerely hope this tool will find it's place in the pocket of people who like drawing pixels on the go. I would love to see what pixel artists (beginner or pro) could do with Little Pixels. For my part, I still have a long way to go before making great pixel art  .
