[PAID] Pixel Artist for Hire - Action RPG Project

Greetings!  I run an indie game dev company called Something Nerdy Studios and we are several years into our first game project called Former Dawn.  It's an Action RPG for the NES (and PC) that is based on an original science fiction story and universe.

We've had many artists involved over the course of the project to handle the various types of art: concept, sprite, background, storyboard, and portraits.  Recently, the artist who was responsible for the backgrounds and portraits has left the project because of pregnancy and childbirth.

Here is a sampling of the existing art that she had completed prior to leaving the project:

It might not look like it, but all of these graphics are authentic NES background graphics (not even using any sprite overlays).  Creating them requires a high degree of technical skill because the limitations (color count, specific color palette, tiling, etc) are what the console requires for them to work instead of what makes the art piece look the best.

So the right artist to fill this role will be someone who is willing to take on that challenge, match the style of the preexisting art, and maintain high quality output.

If you're interested in taking on this role, you can email me back here but I would prefer to be contacted on Discord.  The link to our public-facing Discord server is on our website and Twitter, but here it is explicitly:

My username on there is Jared.  (jekuthiel#9153)
