Hello,
I believe http://https://pixeljoint.com/files/icons/full/eir_narrowed_small.png - my art piece was incorrectly flagged for having too many colors. If the detection process is, what I assume to be, automated then it's likely detecting the various shades caused by the lighting effect in the background. I would appreciate it if someone could confirm or deny this for me as I'd like to have my work posted.

Thank you very much for your time!

And you think backgrounds don't count, why?

The background I did is pure black with a single color, non-dithering light effect over it. I don't believe this to be excessive pallet use. It is a key element of the piece.
