hi, i'm kinda new at pixel art...
I tried lot of things already...
I mostly start with a sketch i drew on computer, then I clean the outlines.
Then I try to give them a nice colour, but it never turns out nice or good.
Maybe someone can gve me some good advice/ tutorials I can do.
my probem is generaly the colours, that make the picture complete.
Also a thing I'd like to try is somehing with no outlines visible, like sky or smoke...but I don't know how to start...
I tried but I can't find the right technique to make it look good...

Why not show some of your colouring attempts in the WIP forum? That way people can give help on how to improve it.

The way I see it, I might be wrong, is that we can't help you that much with your coloring. It's not something that can bee written in ten easy steps. We can try to give maybe a tip or two, dealing with saturation, or mood matching, but for the most part, coloring is something you have to develope on your own through practice.

I agree with halfDemon but still recommend what Blueberry_pie said about posting some of your work in the Work in Progress section.

As one of the more observant folk here may point out to you, topics such as this one rarely, if ever, recieve responses after 10 days of inactivity, as this exceeds the average n00b's attention span by a good 9 days. Thank you for your time, which I hope will be dedicated to more fruitful causes in the future.

if you do a simple look at what the links posted on the main site have to offer as well as acknowledge the fact there is a work in progress category where you can get feedback for your pixels, you will realize for those reason that this thread is locked.
