I need a sprite artist for a SNES style game that is a hybrid of a platformer, a beat 'em up, and a RPG. This game is currently in documents phase. The style I have in question a palette style of Trials of Mana, Star Ocean, Actraiser 2, and Chrono Trigger with addition of various details such as muscles, curves, jiggle physics, facial details, and other details such as the rear. I don't have a set size in mind, so what I'm thinking about doing is winging it and experiment with different sizes. I want the animations to be fluid and smooth, and some of the animations are pivot animations and sub-pixel animations.

I also need a sprite artist that can do tiles and backgrounds in a oil painting pixel art style, and a map artist for a SNES Mode-7 style map.

If anyone is open for work, my Discord is reddragoncats17. You can send me examples and portfolios there.

I should warn you, I'm extremely picky about who I get to work with, as I care about how well you make the sprites and how close you can make them to the style I want. I don't care about how many years of experience you have.

Hey friend, my name's Spark! I'm an pixel artist, and I love Megaman X stuff! Hope all is well.

https://funlookinggames.carrd.co/ - Here's my stuff!

I work mainly with aseprite. I also work for cheap! Only 5$ an hour of pixel work.

My main contact methods are through discord DMs (tag: funlookinggames) and through email (on the link above).

I can also give insights on game design and art design as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Bump. I'm still looking. I'd be dancing happy if a big-time artist got in here.

Post your portfolio first, then we'll see about communicating on Discord.

Update: I forgot to add in one more detail. I want the animations of the characters to be as smooth and fluid as possible. I also want sub-pixel animation to be involved in the animations.

Update 2: I initially used MegaMan X as the example of the style I need. To tell you the truth, it's going to be using the palette style of Trials of Mana and Chrono Trigger, while I'm not entirely sure about how big the sprites are going to be. All I know is that the sprites feature curves, facial features, thick thighs, muscles, and butt details. So I want to use that and essentially wing how big the sprites are going to be, while also limiting myself to the SNES sprite style.

Update 3: I got some concept art of the protagonist commissioned, so you should be getting an idea on what you're going to be drawing pretty soon.

Update 4: I finally have a good tileset and background artist. Matwek is now occupying the position. All I need now is a character sprite artist to occupy that position, and I have yet to find the perfect candidate for that.

Also, the concept art of the protagonist is going to be delayed because the artist is suffering back pain. So it may be a bit before you get to see him.

Remember, I want to use the palette style of Trials of Mana, Star Ocean, Actraiser 2, and Chrono Trigger. I want the sprites to have facial details, muscular details, curves, thick thighs, butt details, and jiggle physics. How I want to go about this is experiment with various sizes, because not only do I want the sprites to have those details, I also want them to look good, especially behind a CRT filter, and stay within the resolution of the SNES. I want the animations of the sprites to be as smooth as butter and as fluid as water, and I also to use pivoting animations, and sub-pixel animations.

Edit: I should've mentioned this in the first post. I should warn you that I'm extremely picky about who I choose to be part of the game, as I only care about how close to the style I want you can make the sprites and how well you make the sprites, not how experienced you are.
