Filax's back to th forums! YAY! Ahem... http://www.urbandead.com - Urban Dead ? Anyone heard of? Anyone plays? "Urban Dead is a free-to-play browser-based multi-player game where you play the survivor or victim of a zombie outbreak in a quarantined city centre, alongside tens of thousands of others." Well, I wasn't too excited with it in the beginning, but I must tell you guys...it's awsome. And the fact that you need no specific software (aside from a web-browser) or hardware to play it makes it even better (especially for me, I'm using a five year old Mac). You'll probably think it sucks when you first play it, but when you get to know the mechanics better you'll see how good it is. Try it. You can have more than one character (although it's considering cheating to have two or more of your characters together) so it'll be easy for you to try different things to see what you like more...you don't even have to register! Just click 'create a character', input a name and password and you're rollin'! Seriously, try it. And if you like it tell me, because I'm needing allies. And if lots of you like I believe we can find a way of making some sort of 'PJ Alliance', there are several simmilar ones already!  |

I posted this link awhile back as well. Played the game for a wee bit too but it got supremely boring and monotonous after a bit.

NO! We should team up and KILL zombies! Meet me in the Fackerell Auto
Repair, Spracklingbank (look at the map in wiki.urbandead.com). It's a
safe place (most zombies can't open doors) and, when I level up, I'll
be able to revive you if you get killed, so it's good for you too. I'd
tell you to go to my other character (the dead one) but he's currently
surrounded by 28 zombies and several corpses that can wake up at any
moment If you're too faraway, just tell me, and I'll find a way to meet you. |

Your IP address has accessed this server too many times today. In order to keep the server running smoothly and to prevent multi-character abuse, players are only allowed to hit the Urban Dead site 160 times from a single machine (or IP address), per day. Either:-

Funny that, of my two main characters, the which I wanted to live is waiting to be revived for several days and the one I wanted to live has died and been revived for like...five times. In two days Yeah, the AP thing kinda sucks, but it has to be like that, otherwise, a guy that found you sleeping would be have as many chances as he wanted to kill you (I just don't know why the chances of hitting a sleeping character aren't 100%) |

if you love this game and use Firefox, there's an extension for which I pixeled the locations.
check it out here http://udtoolbar.mozdev.com/screenshots.html - UD Toolbar then use the installation link to see how it's installed. I had nothing to do with the extension/toolbar itself, so I can't help there. All I did was make the locationsquares to make the game more appealing. |

Yey it worked! I had a go today, i'm a medic called Larwick btw. I found a safe place but i decided to go exploring and couldn't find it again, so i believe i'm stuck exhausted in some place with about 50 dead bodies around, i dont think there's any zombies about though. I swear it's physically impossible to hit a zombie, and i used one of my bullets... :(
