Looking for a digital pixel artist for a cozy boardgame-style indie game. Style reference: Stardew Valley or Plant Tales, but simpler.
Scope: ~350 static 32x32 icons (200 tokens + 150 items, mostly simple animal and plant sprites), plus simple tilesets for 5 separate environments (no trees, rocks, houses, etc., just tiles), a small UI kit, 1 background piece as a border for the game screen, and one key art piece for the store page. No animation required, and no character sprite sheets needed. Concept art/references will be provided for each asset. Budget: Please quote a total project price. Initial offering: ~5-7k USD. You'll receive an initial deposit, and the rest of the payment per-batch completed. We can also do hourly pay if you'd like. Timeline: Negotiable, depending on your work speed. We can discuss hard deadlines for batch milestones. If interested, please share: portfolio link (cozy/icon-style work especially relevant, ideally tileset experience as well), your rate or a total quote for this scope, and rough availability/timeline. Previous experience working with making pixel art for games highly valued. Please note that we will ask for a paid small initial commission to gauge if your art style is suitable for our game, before plunging into the full project.
