[CLOSED FOR NOW]
Hello all, we're developing a game called First Issue, a Superhero JRPG.
We're looking for a (hopefully) long term artist, who we can commission tilesets and battle backgrounds from, and possibly character portraits and characters later down the line.

The scope that we are looking for right now is 48 * 48 tilesets with 20-ish tiles (to our specifications of course), and battle backs.
For now, we would only need one tileset and maybe one battleback (+Possibly some other stuff, depends on what your rates are, timeline, etc), at least until we get more funding through a kickstarter.

Our budget right now is ~500 USD, but if all goes well crowdfunding wise, we will have lots more art to commission and lots more funds to pay you with.

We already have an artstyle and color palette for this project, as we already have an artist working on the game (The current tilesets needed is just too much work on top of everything else going on development wise.)
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xwfI10G2fdcvWXCTyRSjeaRs4iVS5046?usp=sharing - Here is some of the tilesets in game, a WIP map using said tiles, and the color palette
(Just a .aseprite for now, sorry)
References and maybe concept art will be provided per tileset / battleback / whatever else we may ask you to make.

If you're interested, please share with us a portfolio of some kind (Would be great if you could show us something roughly in our game's artstyle? No, a quote for tilesets (and battlebacks, which I can explain more in depth), and what your availability is.

Please reach out to use here: first.issue.the.game@gmail.com
I'll probably ask for your discord handle from there, as that's what the team uses to communicate.
