Hey dudes.  I've been a fan of this site for a while now.  I'm really impressed with the quality of work that gets produced here.

My friend and I have recently begun working on web games full time, check out our site at http://FridayFridayFriday.com - http://FridayFridayFriday.com .

I'm here beacause I've got this one game I've done called http://crookedcrutch.com/swordfight_1_2.html - Swordfight .  I was wondering if anybody would be willing to redo my programmer art.

To make things easier for you, I made the http://crookedcrutch.com/Swordfight_Art_Changer.zip - Swordfight Art Changer .  The file contains everything you need to easily modify the images and see your work come to life in the game.

Post your modifications here if you like.

If I like your art enough, I'll pay you something...  See, the thing is, we just started the site, and haven't begun to advertise it yet, so we have next to no income as of yet.  This is really more of an experiment to see if collaborating with an artist or two could make a big difference in the quality of our games.

I've never worked with an artist before, so I'm not sure what's the best way to go about this.  Feel free to throw out some dollar amounts and/or percentages of income you would want if you're interested.

Thanks for your time.

Wow, I enjoyed the simplistic game play A LOT. I'll play around with the graphics a bit and post them up later.

For the moment, you can check out some of my stuff at http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v162/pastshot/ - http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v162/pastshot/ .

Cool.  Glad you liked it.  Your portfolio is loading really slowly at the moment (like over 1 minute per page), so I'll try checking it out again later.

Also, I'm moving to a new apartment tomorrow, so it may be a few days before I can get back to anybody.

These are rough pixels of the player sprite and easy enemy and a screenshot (with lame bg).

Sorry for the delay.  I had big problems getting my internet set up.  But I'm back on the air now, so all is well.

I like the sprites -- good stuff!  E-mail me at JesseAldridge [at] gmail [dot] com to discuss time frames and payment and stuff.

Also, if anybody else is interested in making an offer, feel free.

Oh yeah, and did you have any problems with the art changer?  I didn't test it on anyone but myself, so I'm not sure how user-friendly it is :)
