Wait a second, when you say 'add highlights!' and then 'add more...!' what exactly do you mean? I see no difference in the images apart from the blade being lighter. You shouldn't say 'add highlights' but more 'make the blade lighter!'.
I think there are quite alot of flaws to this tutorial which may confuse people who are not totally informed with pixel art. There is also a blue pixel over the middle zoomed image's blade.
Of course there's nothing wrong with making tutorials, not in the slightest. But i don't think you should try to do it properly until you know most of the techniques etc yourself. ~ ------------- http://larw-ck.deviantart.com">
