All my works were aparently rejected because they must have some style or I don't know why. So I want to know what I need to submit my pixel art because the ruls don't say nothing that I have done wrong. I'm starting to believe that mods don't like me because all my others threds in the forum were closed too.

Many of my submissions where made some time ago and for that reason and because they have had great comments in other places I will not going to edit them. My style could be different (for you) but I'm sure my jobs are great pixel art pieces too.

I have reades some tutorials before about pixel art but I prefer to make some different drawings and animations with sprite or emoticon styles because I love retro videogames and I have ripped many games sisnce two years ago. However... I don't know what I'm saying this but I want to upload my art here.

First of all - wrong forum. This belongs in Resources and Support.

All of your work was rejected because there were tons of pieces that were in the exact same style as another (another piece of yours, that is) - hell, most of them were just simple recolours. You could've easily put them in one image since they're pretty much the same anyway.

I think the mass rejection also had to do with your behaviour here. I've seen some complaints about you in the mod forum - and when I look at your posts on the main site and the forum, I can see why.

We have standards that go farther than the actual piece itself (simple does not equal bad). You have not broken certain pixelart rules. You have broken the most severe one! All your art is now suspect.

Many of my sprites ar not just simply recolors as you say. all of them have been made one by one starting to cero, except the ratulios and Schnubies than were made in diferent colors but they aren't exactly the same because its faces change so the whole animation change.

Tell my if my work will be never accepted and I just leave the site. but don't forget to join a valid reasons and examples if possible because I don't really note the diference between my work and many of the exposed in the site by other people, so I don't know where is the fault.

look at the art we sent back for revision...  one of them is a guy swinging his arms up and down...  another is the same piece flipped and recolored.
../pixelart/13907.htm">    ../pixelart/13897.htm">
thats why right there.

and we have a certain requirement when it comes to quality, and most of your art just doesnt meet that.  some of it looks like it took you 5 minutes to make.

and now since you have admitted you rip sprites, all of your stuff is under suspicion.  i wouldrecommend http://deviantart.com - deviantart for you, since they accept everything.

Redundancies can really clog the gallery. Rather than submitting multiple pieces with color changes or minor detail changes submit one piece that showcases the differences.

Read the rules the next time you upload something, bucko.
Why do you think I tend to upload similar sprites on one sheet, like this for example (please note they're bigger and better than yours, and, obviously, more time and effort has been spent to create them)):
http://pixeljoint.com/pixelart/12408.htm
To not flood the gallery, that's why! To give others the chance to stay on the first page and get more comments this way. If you don't understand this simple rule, than you're not yet ready to use a gallery of any sort, heck! even net boards.

no locking this until I get my say!!

I sent Schnauzer a PM yesterday. It explained everything (except the bs ripping he's done.. booooo):

"I kindly request that you stop submitting anymore pixels at the moment. All of the are being sent back due to the lack of quality and the amount of lackluster pixels being sent in. This is ridiculous in my opinion. I believe that you would gain some more insight to how to make your art better and stronger and eventually be ready to be showcased on the main site if you take the time to show your art in the WIP (Work In Progress) section of the PJ Forums.

Please do not take this as a direct assault but, rather, as an opportunity to learn, grow, and understand what it means to be an active member of the Pixel Joint community.

Thank you in advance for your cooporation.

PB"

This thread is now locked... PB style yo
