What kind of graphics are you looking for? Tiles, Sprites, Site design?? How is anyone supposed to know what type of artist you're looking for. Since everyone has their strengths and weakness'. -------------

Ladies and Gents,
I certainly am a recruiter, but that does not mean that there isn't a real time job at stake here. The search is confidential, therefore, I can not reveal the company. However, your point is duly noted.
The talent should be character driven, and be able to animate characters in a 2d pixilated setting. They are looking for creative character development, mastery of pixel composition and, incidentally, they are also looking for a 3d artist (Maya is ok, but must be willing to learn 3d studio max if that isn't already your program of choice).
As for my background, and about Update Graphics. We are a creative recruiting firm, not a general recruitment agency. Personally, I have a BFA in Graphic Design and worked as a freelance designer for three years and continue to design on the side. To better understand my candidates, I am taking a flash/actionscripting class.
Anyway, if you think recruiters are the devil, that is absolutely fine. I am sure there will be a few talented individuals out there who don't mind, and thus will submit their work for this gig. Thanks. ------------- Creative Recruiter looking for top 2d pixel artist talent! |
