I came across http://www.unicornjelly.com/uni001.html - this today, it's a (finished) daily online comic, called "Unicorn Jelly"... that has some qualities of pixel art in it. As it goes on, the line art becomes thinner and more pixel art-ish. Looks cute so far, so I thought I'd share. :'D
