Souly inspired me and, as soon as got my (beloved) computer back, I did this. I like it, but there are always details that can be improved - that's where you guys can be helpful

At this moment only a few things bother me:
* I feel the place where the hair thouches the face is not very good...what's the real problem? Solutions?
* I highlighted the hair whith the skintone but I'm not sure if it looks good...Opinions?

I'll be waiting for you C&C.

Love,
"Your Sweet Six-Six-Six"

I think the outline of the hair doesn't need any AAing, only makes it look fat and bluured. I like this clean style, though : ).

The contrast in the hair needs to increase to make the highlights more visible.

Souly, your art is cave-story-tastic

I think the skin tone could be more saturated, but that's just my personal preference, and probably would go against what you're going for (or your real complexion.) Perhaps the hair - skin transition is kinda weird because the dark shades of the hair and the skin are too close in color and shade. There just needs to be a little more definition between them, perhaps with some slight/broken outlining of the hair. It looks awesome already, though. :'D It's just not quite where you want it yet.

I fully agree with Stichy. The character itself is really cute. It may be your intention, the feet as shown makes the sprite appear to jumping?

@souly, the style is awesome and very original, in fact its very, very good.

Many thanks for the feedback, it was very helpful!

Tried to have in account all of what been said while reworking the image, but I probably missed something...here goes:
old-------new

(now that I see both side by side, I think the new one has lost most of it's cuteness )

I didn't make the arms longer, but tried to incorporate those pseudo-hands...the legs remain the same as the ones on the first sketch, I haven't had better ideas for the yet (suggestions are welcome though). I also darkened the skintone a bit, so it suited better for the hair's highlight. I darkened the whole because it's now closer to my hair's real colour and to (try to) fix the hair/skin problem. I also reduced the colour count by one! *maniac grin* And I think that's it...

I still feel it needs improvement, but I'll be waiting for more feedback from you!

Love it filax.

I realise i may have ruined the cute small feel to it with the length of the limbs, but i just thought it was a cool pose. Take from it what you will, it was fun to edit. Added white #FFFFFF. =O
