Well I'm trying to make a clean outline of this building I want to replicate. I can't get the concept of curves though. I've been reading a lot of tutorials and when I try doing what they're telling me to do, the building doesn't turn out looking right(Yes, I know it may not look perfect because of no AA). Anyways I'd be really grateful if anyone could make the outline of the below building for me without the chimney window(circled). No anti-aliasing though please, I'd like to practice that myself.

Thanks ahead of time.

P.S. if you have any tips on making curves to form houses like these i'd be very grateful if you'd share them

well, practice makes perfect.

also, i dont appreciate you asking people here to do traces for you.  the practice is generally looked down upon by most of the members, and looked very down upon by myself...  and this is the second time you have asked for a trace at these forums.

here is a http://www.derekyu.com/extras/pixel03.html - good basic tutorial for curves , they are very simple.

do not ask for a trace in these forums again, please.  if you want traces and such, go to a sprite ripping community or a game makers community, but not here.

Sorry, I've been trying to trace that second building for more than 2 and a half hours. I'm still trying right now too. Thanks for the tutorial link, but I've already read that and it still doesn't help me understand how to make the curves around that building. Anyways, I won't ask for traces anymore.

Just as a tip, i would have sketched out some lines following the curve of the object, then fixed all the jaggies that could be fixed, then fix the rest with some good AAing. There are some kinds of lines which'll never look good as single colour linetool lines. Hope that made sense.
